7 years ago when this event was started our goals were pretty simple - deliver a high quality running event that
runners - walkers & families attend and consider it to be a "must do" on their calendar every year,  give the
community adults & children an opportunity to participate in a charity event and enjoy the feel good that comes
with helping others and lastly & most importantly to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics in Oakland County.

The Special Olympics of Oakland County includes more than 1000 intellectually disabled athletes
and their Volunteer Coaches - they train and compete year round in 15 different sports and tournaments,
Winter and Summer Games, Basketball, Softball, Golf, Bowling, Floor Hockey, etc.

100% of the proceeds of the event are kept here in the Community - with our local athletes - buying them
equipment, uniforms, helping them w/ travel expenses to statewide tournaments.

My hope is that you decide to run the race, consider a donation or, become a volunteer and join me,
the other Race Coordinators and the Communities of Farmington & Farmington Hills in helping
Special Olympics Oakland County.

Thanks in advance for your support.
